Lua is a brand that manufactures and sells wireless sound equipment. Through collaboration with hs² studio and Lua, we conducted research and design with the aim of creating a product that can listen to various music as well as the listening function of wireless earphones. The focus is on creating a variety of user listening environments by making it possible to use the case as a speaker as well as the earphone case that can charge the battery when using wireless earphones.
The shape of the case, which can be used with wireless earphones and speakers, is designed in an iconoclastic circular shape to give a consistent feeling of the product. It is designed to induce natural use and storage through a case shape reminiscent of a cushion compact. Through the function of earphones and speakers, it becomes a product that allows users to listen to music according to various environments when they want.
Lua는 무선 음향기기를 제조하여 판매하는 브랜드입니다. hs² studio와 Lua와의 콜라보레이션을 통해 무선 이어폰의 청취 기능뿐 아니라 다양한 음악 청취를 할 수 있는 제품을 만드는 것을 목표로 연구와 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 무선 이어폰 사용시 배터리를 충전할 수 있는 이어폰 케이스가 항시 필요함과 케이스의 용도를 스피커로도 사용할 수 있도록 하여 다양한 사용자 청취환경을 만들어주는데에 초점을 맞추었습니다.
무선 이어폰과 스피커로도 사용이 가능한 케이스의 형상을 아이코닉한 원형 조형으로 디자인하여 제품의 일관적인 느낌을 가져다줄 수 있도록 하였습니다. 쿠션 팩트를 연상시키는 케이스 형상을 통해 자연스러운 사용과 보관을 유도하도록 디자인하였습니다. 이어폰과 스피커라는 기능을 통해 사용자가 원하는 때에 다양한 환경에 맞게 음악 청취를 할 수 있는 제품이 되어줍니다.

By replacing the circular iKONIC shape, we designed it by setting the consistent ‘Look & Feel’ of earphones and speakers. Through the integrated design, we tried to connect products with two different functions.
원형의 아이코닉한 조형을 대입하여 이어폰과 스피커의 일관적인 ‘Look & Feel’을 설정하여 디자인하였습니다. 일체감있는 디자인을 통해 다른 두가지의 기능을 지닌 제품을 연결하고자 하였습니다.
