Purity is a brand that makes products that purify clean water and provide it to consumers. Through collaboration with hs² studio and Purity, we conducted research and design with the aim of making products for wider user expansion. It expands the essential parts of the product to provide clean and clean drinking life to consumers by adding sterilization and disinfection functions as well as purification. When the two different functions are combined into one, we derive and apply multiple ideas from a user’s perspective in structure and shape to make it more familiar to the user. It allows consumers to experience the philosophy of cleanliness and hygiene that the brand should aim for.

We have proposed water purifiers that have sterilization and disinfection functions for single-person households or raise children, not water purifiers used in many homes. It is mainly used to sterilize and disinfect hygiene-sensitive products such as baby bottles, tumblers, and cups. The operation panel is set in the middle of the two functional parts to enable organic use so that the water purification part, sterilization, and disinfection parts can be used together. It is a product that provides a hygienic living culture to users through two functions.

Purity는 깨끗한 물을 정수하여 소비자에게 제공하는 제품을 만드는 브랜드입니다. hs² studio와 Purity와의 콜라보레이션을 통해 더 넓은 사용자 확대를 위한 제품을 만드는 것을 목표로 연구와 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 제품이 갖고 있는 본질적인 부분을 확대하여 정수 뿐만 아니라 살균 및 소독의 기능을 넣어 소비자에게 깨끗하고 청결한 음용 생활을 제공합니다. 서로 다른 두가지의 기능을 하나로 결합하였을 때 사용자가 보다 더 친숙하게 이용할 수 있도록 구조와 형태를 사용자 관점으로 여러 아이디어를 도출하고 적용하였습니다. 브랜드가 지향해야할 청결과 위생의 철학을 소비자가 경험할 수 있도록 하였습니다.

다수의 가정에서 사용하는 정수기가 아닌 아이를 키우거나 1인 가구를 위한 살균과 소독 기능을 가진 정수기를 제안하였습니다. 주로 아이의 젖병과 텀블러, 컵 등 위생에 민감한 제품들을 살균, 소독하는 용도로 사용됩니다. 정수 부분과 살균, 소독 부분을 함께 사용할 수 있도록 조작 패널을 두 기능부의 중간에 세팅하여 유기적인 사용이 가능하도록 하였습니다. 두가지의 기능을 통하여 사용자에게 위생적인 생활 문화를 제공해주는 제품이 되어줍니다.

We developed the idea of the most optimal formulation for organically using two different functions. The design was based on the user’s point of view so that the user can easily understand and use the function when using the product.

두가지의 다른 기능을 조합하였을 때 기능을 유기적으로 사용할 수 있는 가장 최적의 조형에 관한 아이디어를 전개하였습니다. 사용자가 제품을 사용했을 때 손쉽게 기능을 이해하고 사용할 수 있도록 사용자 관점에 의한 디자인을 진행하였습니다.

The operation panel is designed to be located in the middle of the two functions so that the water purification part and the disinfection and sterilization parts can be used alternately. Considering the beauty of the product, we designed the similarity between the two functions to be felt by the user using organic curves.

정수 파트와 소독 및 살균 파트를 번갈아 사용 가능하도록 조작 패널을 두 기능의 중간에 위치하도록 디자인하였습니다. 제품의 미관을 고려하여 유기적인 곡선을 활용하여 두 기능간의 유사성이 사용자에게 느껴질 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다.
