Yegi is a brand that creates living products that are used throughout everyday life. Regarding the pen holder, which is one of the office products that users always keep by their side, we wanted to harmonize with the surrounding space through its eye-catching beauty. We wanted to create a product that encourages users to organize by stimulating their desire to put their writing instruments in the pen holder.

When a writing instrument is placed in a ceramic pen holder, the writing instruments piled up around the bird represent the shape of a nest. Through this, it is a product that induces organization by stimulating the psychology of wanting to put writing instruments in a pencil case through the indirect experience of making a nest.

Yegi는 일상에서의 생활 전반적으로 사용하는 리빙제품을 만드는 브랜드입니다. 사용자들이 항상 곁에 두고 사용하는 오피스 제품 중 펜홀더에 관하여 시선을 사로잡는 아름다움을 통해 주변 공간과 조화를 이루고자 하였습니다. 사용자가 필기구를 펜홀더에 넣고 싶어하는 심리를 자극하여 정리를 유도하는 제품을 만들고자 하였습니다.

세라믹 소재의 펜홀더에 필기구를 넣었을 때, 새 주변에 쌓이는 필기구들이 둥지의 형상을 나타냅니다. 이를 통하여 사용자가 둥지를 만든다는 간접적인 경험을 통해 필기구를 필통에 넣고 싶어하는 심리를 자극하여 정리를 유도하는 제품입니다.

Conceived from the idea that birds make nests by gathering tree branches, we set the idea of making a nest by storing writing instruments in a pen holder. It is a product designed to induce the organization of writing instruments through the small fun felt when using a pen holder.

새가 나무가지를 모아 둥지를 만든다는 발상에서 착안하여 사용자가 직접 필기구들을 펜홀더에 보관하여 하나의 둥지를 만든다는 아이디어를 설정하였습니다. 펜홀더를 사용하였을 때 느끼는 소소한 재미를 통해 필기구의 정리를 유도하고자 디자인한 제품입니다.

A desk object is completed through writing instruments organized around the shape of a bird. By putting the writing utensils the user wants into the pen holder, various effects can be displayed.
