Yves Saint Laurent is a global fashion brand founded in Paris, France. We studied design styling and CMF to enable customers to feel the value of the brand by incorporating the brand's unique essence into the cosmetics lineup. By applying Yves Saint Laurent's signature pattern to the product, we aimed to convey the brand's essential appearance. We wanted to continue Yves Saint Laurent's consistent brand by matching the brand's consistent look and feel.
The shape of the product is rectangular and I tried to reproduce it with a similar feeling to Yves Saint Laurent’s bag. In order for consumers to feel the value of the brand through this product, the cover of the product is reproduced with silicon similar to leather and designed to have tactile satisfaction similar to leather. We tried to express the unique identity of the brand with the gold and black colors as the main color.
Yves Saint Laurent은 프랑스 파리에서 설립된 글로벌 패션 브랜드입니다. 브랜드가 가지고 있는 고유의 에센스를 화장품 라인업에 대입하여 고객이 브랜드의 가치를 느낄 수 있도록 디자인 스타일링, CMF를 연구하였습니다. Yves Saint Laurent의 시그니처 패턴을 제품에 대입하여 브랜드의 본질적인 모습을 전달하고자 하였습니다. 브랜드의 일관적인 Look & Feel을 맞추어 Yves Saint Laurent의 일관적인 브랜드의 결을 이어나가고자 하였습니다.
제품의 조형은 직사각형으로 Yves Saint Laurent의 가방과 유사한 느낌으로 재현하고자 하였습니다. 소비자가 이 제품을 통해 브랜드의 가치를 느낄 수 있도록 제품의 커버를 가죽과 유사한 실리콘으로 재현하여 가죽가 흡사한 촉각적 만족을 갖도록 디자인하였습니다. 골드와 블랙의 컬러를 메인으로 하여 브랜드 고유의 아이덴티티를 표현하고자 하였습니다.
We added the shapes and patterns to get the motif from Yves Saint Laurent’s bag so that cosmetics can also be felt as accessories. Through the signature pattern of the brand, we tried to convey the essential appearance of the brand to consumers.
Yves Saint Laurent의 가방에서 모티브를 얻어 화장품 또한 악세서리로 느낄 수 있도록 하기 위해 조형과 패턴을 대입하였습니다. 브랜드의 시그니처 패턴을 통해 소비자에게 브랜드의 본질적인 모습을 전달하고자 하였습니다.
